The ACT test is accepted by most four-year colleges and universities for admission.

The ACT test is offered at WHS during the year, and is also available to be taken in many local schools.

This test consists of English (45 minutes), Math (60 minutes), Reading (40 minutes), Science (40 minutes) and Writing (40 minutes).  

Cost: $46 for basic test, $67 for ACT PLUS with writing.  Fee waivers are available in the counseling office.

October 27 @ Knappa HS Registration deadline: 9/28 (late 10/14)
December 8 @ Ilwaco HS Registration deadline: 11/2 (late 11/19)
April 7 @ Warrenton HS

Fee Waivers:
Fee waivers are available for students who are burdened by the ACT test fee.  Please see a counselor to obtain a fee waiver.  In order to qualify, a student must be on or qualify free or reduced lunch, be a member of Upward Bound or Talent Search, or have a financial hardship.  See a counselor for more information.

Essential Skills:
ACT scores can be used to meet the Reading, Writing, and Math Essential Skill Graduation Requirements in Oregon.  See a counselor for more information.
