I grew up in Bend Oregon until 10th grade. We moved out to a small eastern Oregon town called Dayville to finish high school (seriously tiny 1A school with five people in my graduating class). After high school, I went to Corvallis Oregon to attend Oregon State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master of Science in Science and Mathematics Education. During my time in Corvallis I worked at CH2MHILL for three years doing analytical chemistry. I’m married with three awesome children. I taught all levels of chemistry at West Linn High School for ten years and partnered with Clackamas Community College to offer CH 221-223 for my AP chemistry classes. We got bored of the metro area and moved to Alaska…I worked as an education coordinator at a prison for one year and took a job at Soldotna High School for two years before determining it was too cold in Alaska. We came back to Oregon because it is the best here. I'm currently teaching algebra, physical science, physics, and chemistry.
