22-23 Back-to-School Information

Warrior Community:

I hope you have had a great summer and will fully enjoy the remaining week of summer break before the 22-23 school starts.  I expect and hope for a return to as normal a school year as possible since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.  Here is some key information about the 22-23 school year in our district:

4.    Remote Learning Option: A 100% remote learning option is available for students in grades K -12 through the Warrenton Academy of Virtual Education (WAVE) program.  Contact the district office at (503) 861-2281 for more information.
Alternative Education Option: For students in grades 6 ā€“ 12 who may struggle in traditional school settings and need additional flexibility/support, we will continue to offer an alternative education program, this year through our newly formed Warrior Academy.
For more information on either of these programs contact the district office at (503) 861-2281
5.    COVID Protocols: The required COVID protocols will be those that were in place at the end of last school year.

-    Students or staff members who test positive must stay home for five days and may return on the sixth day if they are symptom-free.
-    Mask wearing is optional.
-    If there are signs of an outbreak in a class, grade or building the district will collaborate with Clatsop County Public Health Department in responding.
-    As always, if your child is not feeling well, please error on the side of keeping them home from school.
Iā€™m looking forward to a great school year and seeing all of our students back on campus on September 6th.
