well hello there Warriors. I just wanted to do a quick video with this newsletter that we have here to go over a few things but this newsletter will be released today if you guys get it in your email I want to go so there's any questions as we go through hopefully this will answer any of those questions so that new information comes out in the dark High School in the state of Oregon as always at the top 20 to 21 athletic calendar now right now at this point we don't have any events scheduled but I anticipate in the next couple weeks it will be able to start getting some of those games schedule this week in 2 seasons 2 3 and 4 the Osa shifted Sports not already aware that but all of our fall winter and spring Sports have been shifted to the start at the end of December with winter-sport I'll be in our first one and then springsoft if you were to click on this right here it would there be a little note from the OSAA with a visual of how those things have shifted let you guys go ahead and click on that what kind of break breaks down into season 1 is an open. Where are at athletes and coaches will have the opportunity to work with one another and then season 2 will go from 1228 237 basketball and golf for all the way through the end of June so again click on any of these links here to see that it's the same one over and over so don't feel like you have the same information so season 1 at think it's important for us the district collaborations our coaching staff repeller best to provide opportunities for kids as long as they were allowed by the Oregon Health Authority Oregon Department education and Governor Brown we just want to make sure that we give opportunity for our kids to get out and be active and so we will be doing that and we are allowing time to give each Seasons to specific times to to do so so our baseball will actually be the 31st through October 2nd October 5th 13th and season 2 I will be November 16th through the 28th leading up into the winter sport so that doesn't mean that we won't have other things for kids to do we're still working on ways to provide conditioning and things to that extent maybe if you're not a baseball softball tracker fill the golf player so we're still looking into that and more information will come out as well as we get older what you guys will need it it's different but it's not different so in order to participate in season 1 every athlete will need a current physical and these are good for two years most of our 9th grade and 11th grade if you click here on this link you will be directed to the physical form as well as all the other forms on our district website or our school website you can also come to the high school and get these and fill these out registration form again can be downloaded here and again available in the office if you don't have a printer at home and you'll need your insurance information which is part of the athletic registration form and then we have a whs Coca-Cola form can be downloaded here if you've already filled one out for the summer time we work are going to need everybody to fill that out again so stop then last couple things is just Osa covid-19 frequently asked questions these are all from the OSAA in regards to a different question in regards to eligibility there's there's probably five pages worth of stuff here that you guys can sort through if you have any questions after being able to kind of look through those please feel free to get in touch with me call me here at the high school 13317 or you can email me at O'Brien obrien I at Warrenton k12.org contact all our coaches follow us on Facebook and Instagram for update that's really what we've got but I just wanted to take a quick minute to go through that so you guys are aware of how what's going on Athletics I hope you guys are all doing well and can't wait to see our our students and appreciate those who know
