I'd like to take a moment to share along with our whs Warrior minute our Warrior Spirit Spotlight something special happened at our Friday night's home football game last week 2 of our own sophomore Brooklyn and Junior Leila truly embodied what it means to be a warrior during the game they noticed several younger students in distress even though they didn't know them personally Brooklyn and Leila immediately stepped in they offered Comfort guidance and reassurance staying with the students until they felt safe and reported their actions remind us that leadership isn't about titles or recognition it's about noticing a need and choosing to act Brooklyn and Leila showed empathy compassion and service the very qualities we strive to cultivate in every student who walks our Hall we are incredibly proud of them and their kindness serves as a shining example of what it means to be part of the warrior family as we end our second week of school we've noticed something exciting students are more engaged in their learning asking great questions and taking pride in their work they're not only enjoying their classes but also stepping up as leaders and contributors to our school community from academics to Athletics to the Arts are warriors are showing up with enthusiasm and spirit and that spirit will only continue to grow as we get closer to 1 of the highlights of the Year homecoming week September 22nd through the 26th this week will be full of fun activities dress up days athletic events and opportunities for our entire Community to come together and celebrate what it means to be a warrior we can't wait to see our students staff families and community members join in the excitement to stay connected please be sure you registered with parent Square where we share important updates and more inspiring stories from our students we look forward to celebrating even more examples of warrior pride in the weeks ahead this is your principal Bev Scott thanks for taking the time to view our Warrior Spirit Spotlight and our wh Warrior minute and have a great week
